Head Coach: Curtis Mattair, Jr.
A native of Madison, Florida, Curtis Mattair’s football career started at Madison County High School under legendary Head Coach Randy McPherson. He continued football at Bethune Cookman College as a running back and at Alabama A&M University as a defensive back and a sprinter on the Track and Field team.
Coach Mattair was a therapist in the Alabama Juvenile Justice System before joining Chamblee Charter High School in 2009 as Special Education teacher. He also served in multiple athletic leadership roles, including Varsity Football Offensive Coordinator, Head Junior Varsity Football Coach, Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, Head Track and Field Coach and Head Cross Country Coach. He spearheaded a new, fully equipped weight room to benefit athletes across all CCHS sports, drawing on his experience as a Personal Trainer. With certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, USA Weightlifting and USA Track & Field, he takes pride in the weight room and uses it as a tool to develop athletes physically and mentally.
In 2015, Coach Mattair and his wife moved to Fort Worth, Texas, where he taught Special Education and worked with multiple varsity high school athletic programs as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach with Performance Course.
Coach Mattair earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees from Alabama A&M University and his Professional Education Certifications in Special Education and Health and Physical Education from Georgia State University.

Coach Houston is from St. Petersburg, FL. He's a 2003 graduate of Alabama State University, and worked for Florida A&M University as a strength and conditioning coach from 2007-2010.
He also was signed for the Canadian Football League and coached and played arena football.
